Krister Koskelo

Krister is a DPhil candidate in the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford. His doctoral research focuses on physical climate risks and their relevance to the financial sector, examining both risk metrics and investment decisions.

He also takes a strong interest in the broader implications of sustainable finance and has worked in education in the field (ranging from undergraduates to financial professionals) and on policy-related projects.

Before starting his doctoral studies, Krister worked at Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) and as a financial journalist at The Economist. Krister holds an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA in economics from Harvard University.
