Grade 7: £33,309 – £40,927 p.a.

We are seeking a Research Associate to join the Oxford Sustainable Finance Programme (OxSFP).  OxSFP is a multidisciplinary research group working to be the world’s best place for research and teaching on sustainable finance and investment. The OxSFP work with leading practitioners from across the investment chain, with firms and their management, and with experts from a wide range of related subject areas.

You will contribute across several thematic areas within the OxSFP with a specialism in economics and finance (including financial analysis). The post holder will be an emerging leader in their field, and brings to the post demonstrable research and teaching skills and expertise in sustainable finance, including strength in topics such as financial economics, financial risk analytics, and/or credit analysis.

You will hold, or be close to completion of, a relevant PhD/DPhil and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop novel research projects and methodologies, with a focus on finance and financial analysis. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results, and represent the research group at meetings. Previous experience of contributing to publications/presentations is essential.

An appointment at Grade 6: £29,614 – £35,326 p.a. may also be considered for a less experienced candidate (with a Bachelor’s degree minimum requirement and suitable adjustment of responsibilities).

This is a fixed-term post for 36 months with the possibility of extension depending on funding.
