Ryan is a Senior Consultant at Oliver Wyman within the financial services practice, focusing on climate risk. Previously, he was at the Bank of England focusing on how financial services firms develop best practices in relation to Climate-related Business Strategy and Risk Management. In particular, this has involved reviewing how firms are developing capabilities in relation to the Bank’s SS3/19 policy and C-BES exercise.
Prior to this, Ryan supervised a number of European Investment Banks throughout Brexit negotiations and was heavily involved in 3rd country branch authorization decisions. As part of his role with the CGFI, he has been looking into the development of Climate Scenario Analysis.
In his spare time, Ryan is part of the Army Reserves serving with the Honourable Artillery Company. He holds an Msc from Warwick Business School in Central Banking & Financial Regulation.
