CGFI generates tools and datasets that are openly available for others to use, for commercial or non-commercial purposes. Our available tools and datasets are below, applicable to climate and nature-related hallenges across physical climate risks, transition risk, nature risk, spatial finance and more.

GeoAsset Databases

The Spatial Finance Initiative’s GeoAsset project is a public goods endeavour that creates and disseminates global, open asset databases for high impact industries.

IRIS - The Imperial College Storm Model

IRIS takes input from 42 years of observed tropical cyclones and creates a 10,000 year synthetic dataset which is then validated against the observations.

Adaptation and Resilience Metrics

A collation of existing climate change adaptation and resilience metrics by the GRII with UNEPFI.

Wind/Flood Risk Correlation Explorer

The Explorer displays correlations for variables including wind gust, precipitation and river flow, as well as Flood Severity and Storm Severity indices.

GRI Risk Viewer

The Resilient Planet Data Hub (RPDH)'s GRI Risk Viewer displays risk from climate hazards at a global scale, and includes data on hazards, vulnerability and exposure under different future climate scenarios.

This CFRF climate scenario analysis tool, hosted by CGFI, is designed to support firms in assessing their climate-related risks and opportunities.
