About this event
The UK Centre for Greening Finance and Investment (CGFI) Leeds Innovation Hub, in collaboration with the Bank of England are hosting an in person event in Leeds.
The Bank of England has recently released a new consultation paper (CP10/25) on enhancing banks’ and insurers’ approaches to managing climate-related risks.
To support the separate consultation process (responses can be sent to the official mailbox) UK CGFI and the Bank of England will jointly host an event to explore the paper and the latest academic research that will support firms in meeting the proposed requirements.
Representatives from the Bank and experts from industry and academia will discuss the updates to SS3/19 proposed in CP10/25; how businesses might address the proposed requirements; and the implications when physical climate risks and transition are considered in combination with nature and wider economic risks.
