Christophe Christiaen (CGFI Head of Impact and Innovation) spoke at the GEO BON Global Conference: Monitoring Biodiversity for Action on Innovative uses of Earth Observation products to support nature finance challenges. The session focused on satellite assets and applications which can enable nature finance metrics and management, including for procedures to assess physical and transition risks, transparent definitions of bio-debits/credits; and integrating nature-based solutions into financial systems.
