15.50 – 16:50, 8th May | Manchester Central Convention Complex

The CGFI Leeds Innovation Hub team are leading a session at the Building Society Association (BSA)’s Annual Conference on 8th May.

In this session, the team will look at the role of climate and environmental risk analytics for finance and introduce the work of CGFI. As well as this, we will look at the recent Climate Biennial Exploratory Scenario (CBES) exercise of the Bank of England, which CGFI supported, and what we have learned from this.

The session will include small-group discussions to understand the challenges and opportunities faced by the building society sector in incorporating climate and environmental risk analysis into decision-making and risk management.
